“Who better to welcome you to the Linklaters website than a Utrecht graduate? I’m Belarusian, so I spent six months at Utrecht university studying Dutch, before doing my Bachelor in Dutch Law and a Masters in International and European Law. Being new to the country, I found myself faced with all sorts of language and integration challenges, but I was absolutely determined to be successful. And it’s really paid off.
Take it from me, Linklaters in Amsterdam is a fantastic place to further your career. I first found out about the firm during my Corporate Law course. We got to listen to all kinds of guest speakers, and one was from Linklaters. He was a managing associate at the time, but he’s a partner now. He was so enthusiastic, he immediately captured my interest. He told us about a firm that was working on a scale and a level of complexity that was incredibly exciting. Naturally I had high hopes when I joined, and I haven’t been disappointed. My law degree has been a good foundation but the real learning started when I joined.”
